His next film on a political subject “Samiran Barua Ahi Ase” (Return of SamiranBarua) was official entry in the 18th Kolkata International Film festival in 2012. His other films include “Surjasta” (A Sunset), on the subject of child negligence and a suspense drama “Borosi” (The Trap). He was Co-Scriptwriter of the films “Olong” (Strangers in the Mist), which received the National Award for Best Rabha Film in 2015, and forthcoming film “Naam Nothoka Cinema” (Film without Name). He writes on Cinema in the local Assamese weekly and daily newspapers like Sadin, Asomiya Pratidin and Asomiya Khabar.
